Independent Music Service was established in May of 1991 in Little Rock Arkansas. In 1998 we moved to our current location in Sherwood Arkansas. In 2008 we opened our second location in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Our company has 8 full time technicians with a combined total of 120 years experience in the art of repairing and rebuilding band and orchestral instruments. We are factory trained technicians and members of the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians.
Just as the motto says we are dedicated to providing you with the very best professional service available anywhere. When you bring an instrument or even a precious antique to us you can feel confident that you’ll be getting first class treatment.
Music companies, manufacturers, school districts, and professionals send instruments to us for repairs or restoration. Music companies send their stock instruments to us to repair for resale. Manufacturers have used us in the past to do their warranty work or production work on special projects. Schools from across the country call on us when the instruments they have been using for the last 25 or 30 years finally cannot be used any more and needs to be overhauled to look and play like new. Professional musicians often call ahead to schedule a time to get their instruments repaired by us.
